My name is Ms. Reeves and I am very excited about this year here at Northside High! This will be my 3rd year at NSHS! I have been training in dance for twenty years and I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for dance with you!

I was born and raised in Durham, NC where I trained at two local dance studios for 16 years. My mother was a professional ballerina in the Pennsylvania Ballet Company and she is the one who got me started in dance. I attended Riverside High School where I also trained in dance. It was my dance teacher here that inspired me to become a dance teacher today! Riverside's mascot was a purple and gold pirate. I loved the mascot so much that I attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC where I stayed a purple and gold pirate! You know what they say, "Once a Pirate Always a Pirate!" My student teaching internship was at North Pitt High School in Bethel, NC. I enjoyed my time there with my students. I graduated from ECU with my BFA in Dance Education.

In the last 2 years, I have choreographed 3 musicals, produced and choreographed 4 dance program shows, and founded the Dancing Royals, Northside's Dance Team! They perform at football & baksetball games and compete once a year!

I live in Richlands with my Fiance and our three dogs. I also teach at Swansboro and Emerald Isle dance studios twice a week after school. I love being close to the beach. I love to read. And most importantly I love to dance and teach dance to my students!! The dance program has grown so much and I cannot wait to see it expand more this year! I love to have fun and be quirky and weird in my classes. You'll learn that soon enough! And you'll also learn, it is OKAY to laugh at Ms. Reeves. Most the time, I'll be laughing at myself! It is going to be an entertaining, dance filled year!
